Post Graduate Convocations
The college arranges its Annual Post-graduate Convocation programme in the month of September since 2016 in which eminent academicians such as Padmashree Prof. Ajay Ray (Director, IIEST) in 2016, Prof Dhruba Jyoti Chattopadhyay (VC, Amity University) in 2017, Padmabhushan and Padmashree Prof Bikash Sinha (Director of SINP) & Padmashree Prof. Bimal Roy, Ex-Director, Indian Statistical Institute in 2018 and Dr. Kalyan Rudra, Director, West Bengal Pollution Control Board in 2019 had delivered convocation speeches on their respective fields. In every year, Prof. Basab Chowdhury, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, West Bengal State University has presided over the ceremony and delivered his speech to the recipients of the Degrees. After two years gap due to COVID, College arranged its fifth convocation on 23rd September, 2022. Prof. Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay (Director, ISI, Kolkata) delivered her illuminating speech on this occasion enlightening the students about the need of research and its integration with the curriculum of the respective subjects. Dr. Mahua Das, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, West Bengal State University graced the occasion with her august presence.
