Research Interest:
1. Cancer Proteomics – During my Master degree dissertation I did a project under the Supervision of Dr Amlan Ghosh at Presidency University where I identified that Human Papilloma Virus (HPV 16 & HPV 18) was associated with Prostate Cancer. Main theme of my research is to find out (using Western Blot & Immunohistochemistry) the presence of viral oncoprotein (E6 &E7) in the Prostate Cancer samples obtained from SSKM Hospital
2. Neurodegenerative disease – At present I am trying to identify blood marker for several neurodegenerative dseases, such as Huntington’s disease (preprint available @ https://doi.org/10.1101/2021.03.26.437248), Alzheimer’s disease etc using insilico methods.
