2016-2017
Bhairab Ganguly College’s Alumni Association – formed in 2015 with 70 members. It is a registered body – name ABAHAMAN ALUMNI ASSOCIATION – Reg. No. 45458, Registration Date – 23rd November, 2015. In 2016-2017, the number increased – nearly to 100 + members. Till date, many of them contributed money for the development of the College in various areas. For the first time, a reunion cultural programme was held during 2016-2017.
2017-2018
This was the Golden Jubilee period of our Bhairab Ganguly College. To commensurate these 50 years, Abahaman organized a Reunion on 26th November, 2017, by now the number of members is increased to 305. Then the association tried to do some work for the benefit of the needy students, accumulating money for the library books, scholarship grants for the needy and meritorious students etc. Subsequently, a formal body was formed with various posts – President, Vice-President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer etc. for the smoothing of work.
2018-2019
Abahaman, the Alumni Association conducted a meeting and formed a new body of office bearers. There are many programmes in the pipeline like outreach programme to help poor students of certain places, to held seminars like Environmental changes, to decide on the date 15th December for 3rd Reunion and many more to come.
