Attendance Requirements for Semester I (Major) Students for Filling Out University Examination Forms, 2025-2026
As per the advisory issued by the WBSU authorities and in continuation of the college’s previous notice (Notice No. 2826, dated 01.02.2025), all Semester I students pursuing B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. (Honours/Honours with Research) are hereby notified of the following attendance requirements for the end-semester university examinations:
❖ Attendance Requirements:
➢ Students with 65% or more attendance will be permitted to appear for the end-semester university examinations.
➢ Students with attendance between 55% and 64% may appear for the examinations upon payment of a Condonation fee of ₹ 500/-.
❖ Marks Allotted for Attendance (as per WBSU guidelines):
* 75% and above: 10 marks
* 65% – 74%: 8 marks
* 55% – 64%: 5 marks
❖ Important Dates:
➢ The last date for filling out the end-semester university examination forms for Semester I students is 25-03-2026.
➢ Respected Departmental In-Charges are requested to submit the attendance records of Semester I students (Honours/Honours with Research) to Smt. Suparna Das by 3 PM on 19-03-2026.
➢ The cut-off date for attendance calculation for Semester-I students (Honours/Honours with Research) is 18.03.2026.
