Walk-in-interview -Junior Research Fellow

A walk-in-interview is scheduled to be held on 17th August, 2018 at 11a.m. in the Conference Room of the college for the appointment of one Junior Research Fellow for Department of Higher Education, Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Govt. of West Bengal funded Major Research Project entitled “Biological waste derived nano-hydroxyapatite for the removal of heavy metal Ions from rural polluted drinking water” under the supervision of Dr. Debabrata Bhadra (Principal Investigator), Department of Physics, Bhairab Ganguly College.
Number of Post : JRF-1 (One)
Essential Qualification :Post-graduate Degree in Physics (Specialization in Condensed Matter Physics/ Materials Science/ Biophysics/ Spectroscopy or related discipline) with atleast 55% marks
Fellowship : Rs. 18,700/- per month (Basic Rs. 16,000/-+15% HRA+Rs. 300 M.A.)
Duration : 3 years [2 yr JRF, 1yr SRF (Rs. 21,000/- per month)]
Type of engagement : No engagement in DHESTBT sponsored project is permanent. Any engagement (SRF & JRF only) under the project shall strictly be contractual and temporary in nature and will cease automatically on the termination of the project.

NET qualified candidates will be given preference in the selection procedure as per the guidelines of West Bengal State University for Ph.D. registration.
